Archives

In addition to my background in History and Digital Humanities, I hold an MS in Archives Management from an ALA-accredited program. I spent a number of years working in libraries and archives through jobs and internships. My coursework included introductory and advanced courses in archival management, preservation, photographic collections, reference, and management for libraries and archives. I have experience processing and providing preservation for archives collections ranging from .5 cubic feet up to 300 cubic feet. I have also worked with ephemera and historic photograph collections at institutions including Historic New England, the Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine, and the library of Harvard’s Fogg Art Museum. I have worked in collections documenting race, gender, and sexuality, and I have kept current in the scholarship in the field. Since library school, I have also undertaken additional training in digital stewardship and digital cultural heritage.
